Abstract

The title "Journalism in Crisis: Ethics, Trust, and Accountability" encompasses a comprehensive examination of the current state of journalism, focusing on the profound challenges that the industry faces. This paper delves into the ethical dilemmas faced by journalists in an era characterized by rapid technological advancements, declining trust in media, and the pervasive influence of misinformation. It argues that the erosion of ethical standards and the failure to uphold accountability have led to a crisis within journalism, which threatens the very foundation of democratic societies.
